When it comes to having family portraits around the walls of our home, I’m big on arranging them to look awesome! I must admit it may take some time to update the actual photos in them, but hey who’s judging?
Today I wanted to share a few awesome ways to create a family portrait wall using little money. (because being a family of five is expensive)
So let’s dive right in.
Here is a list of what you will need.
- 1 – 11 X 14 black frames
- 2 – 8 X 10 black frames
- 2 – 8 X 10 different color/pattern frames
- 2 – 5 X 7 black frames
- 2 – 4 X 6 black frames
- 1 – 11 X 14 favorite quote or saying
- 3 – small wooden words (or as many as you’d like)
- double-sided tape (command hooks or nail and hammer works too)
- 5 – 8 awesome family pictures of the kids, grandparents etc
I purchased everything at the dollar store for $1 each except the wooden words which was from the local craft store. you can also print the photos at home if you have a printer.
If you have a colored wall you may want to go with white frames instead, or even mix and match- your choice.
I arranged them differently below before choosing one to stick to for my family photo wall. Here’s my favorite–cute and perfect for longer wall spaces.
Here are 4 other options you may like.
Have fun filling it up with awesome photos of your family! I hope to get to that part.. eventually.
Till next time,
